Assessments & Strategy

Know where you stand before you commit the budget

Each assessment is a fixed-scope engagement that produces evidence, a target architecture and a sequenced roadmap — usable whether or not we deliver the work that follows.

Three scoped engagements

Compare scope, deliverables and audience. If more than one applies, discovery can usually be shared.

Data Maturity Assessment

Establish where your data estate actually stands before committing to a modernization programme.

Scope

  • Data architecture
  • Data governance
  • Data quality
  • Analytics maturity
  • Data engineering practice
  • Organizational readiness

Deliverables

  • Current-state findings report
  • Maturity rating per dimension
  • Target data architecture
  • Prioritized, sequenced roadmap
Typical duration
Typically 3–5 weeks, depending on estate size
Recommended for
CDOs, data platform leads and analytics leaders planning a modernization investment.
Modernize Your Data Platform

AI Readiness Workshop

Determine which AI use cases are feasible on the data and controls you have today.

Scope

  • Candidate AI use cases
  • Data readiness for grounding
  • AI architecture options
  • Security and data-use boundaries
  • Governance and human oversight
  • Model readiness and evaluation approach

Deliverables

  • Scored use-case shortlist
  • Data readiness findings
  • Reference AI architecture
  • Implementation roadmap
Typical duration
Typically 2–4 weeks, including workshop sessions
Recommended for
Executives and product leaders deciding where to place a first or next AI investment.

Cloud Architecture Review

An independent read on your Google Cloud architecture against reliability, security and cost.

Scope

  • Architecture and workload design
  • Reliability and resilience
  • Security and identity
  • Cost optimization
  • Performance
  • Operational excellence

Deliverables

  • Findings with severity ranking
  • Remediation backlog
  • Target-state architecture
  • Cost optimization opportunities
Typical duration
Typically 2–4 weeks
Recommended for
Platform and infrastructure leaders preparing for scale, audit or a migration wave.

Durations are typical ranges for planning purposes. Fixed scope, price and timeline are confirmed in writing after a scoping call.

How an assessment runs

The same six steps, whichever assessment you choose

  1. 01

    Scope

Agree objectives, systems in scope, stakeholders and the decision the assessment must support.

  2. 02

    Discover

Interviews, architecture walkthroughs and read-only inspection of the running environment.

  3. 03

    Analyse

Findings assembled against each dimension, with evidence attached to every observation.

  4. 04

    Design

Target architecture drafted and tested against your constraints and appetite.

  5. 05

    Roadmap

Work sequenced by dependency and value, with effort and risk noted per item.

  6. 06

    Readout

Executive readout, written report and a working session with the delivery team.

FAQ

Common questions

How much does an assessment cost?

Pricing depends on scope, estate size and the depth of evidence required. We provide a fixed quote after a short scoping call rather than publishing a rate that would not survive contact with your environment.

What access do you need?

Read-only access to the relevant environments where possible, plus documentation and time with the engineers who run the systems. We can work from documentation and interviews alone where access is restricted.

Are we committed to an implementation afterwards?

No. The report, target architecture and roadmap are yours to execute with any partner or in-house. Assessments are deliberately sold and delivered as standalone engagements.

Can assessments be combined?

Frequently, yes. Data maturity and AI readiness in particular overlap in discovery, which reduces total elapsed time when run together.

A short scoping call is enough for us to confirm which assessment fits, what access is required and what it will cost.
